EMPLOYEE WORKPLACE SAFETY & HEALTH INSPECTIONS

THE INSPECTION REPORT Is a printable PDF electronic workplace safety & health inspection report with pictures/descriptions attached. It will be immediately emailed to the appointed company representative before Joe Brown exits the workplace. Each report will have the day's weather, geography tag, date & time, with inspector's signature. Recognizable hazards (non-compliance) and good compliance (due diligence) per Cal-OSHA/Fed-OSHA regulations will be documented per the company's instructions (important company-trade secrets considered). An after-action-review will follow. This can be accomplished on-site or via TEAMS or ZOOM when the company leadership requests it. 

Cal-OSHA states, a periodic scheduled inspection must be conducted under their regulations. What does "periodic" mean? 

General Industry Rule of Thumb: Example: Manufacturing and warehouse: Every 30 days or quarterly, depending on the work tasks, operational processes, and the hazards that each present. In some manufacturing facilities, some areas (high risk) can be potentially inspected once a month, while other areas with low risk would be conducted quarterly. 

Unlike construction sites that may be scheduled every 10 days. 

General rule of thumb for construction sites every 10 days. Why? Construction sites are rapidly changing/evolving, and so do the specific employee-work tasks, which present rapidly evolving workplace hazards. Example(s): Week one: land development/excavation. Week two: pouring a concrete foundation. Week three: rough carpentry. Week four: drywall install and so forth... As the work changes, so do the employee tasks, which different and unique hazards are then created by those tasks.
